ORA is the UK partner in a leading independent European consultancy and engineering group specialising in the development of advanced waste treatment systems. We have offices in the UK, Germany and Luxembourg which work together to bring innovative and sustainable waste management solutions to the public and private sectors across Europe. We are now seeking a suitable candidate for the following position.

Waste Consultants

We currently have two exciting career opportunities for people who want to work as part of a multidisciplinary team at the cutting edge of waste management:

Waste consultant to advise on waste management systems covering topics such as establishment of waste collection schemes, selection and development of appropriate waste treatment technology, and end use of outputs from such facilities.
Consultant engineer to advise on the development and evaluation of tender documents for advanced waste treatment facilities, their specification, design, construction and project management.

We are looking for committed individuals who can offer the following to our team:

An environmental or engineering degree ideally with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate work experience and preferably with, or working towards, Chartered status.
A flexible approach to working both as a member of project teams and individually.
Excellent numerical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
A willingness to gain the necessary experience to excel as a waste management professional.
Experience in the waste management industry, regulatory authorities or with a local authority is desirable although not essential.

The successful candidates will be based at ORA’s offices in Malvern, Worcestershire. They should expect to travel throughout the UK and occasionally within Europe.
